I’m not but I’ll use this opportunity to complain about my visit last year.

the grounds and stands are small, low capacity.I went to first 3 days last year, grounds pass, lenglen, and chatrier.
I waited 20 minutes each time I wanted to change courts on the grounds. There aren’t enough seats and lines get long. The main stadiums are all ticketed so no easy way to absorb the crowds. The weather was crap, cold windy rainy. If you’ve been to the US open, RG is maybe half the size same issue with Wimbledon too small. Long lines, crowds hard to move around hard to go from court to court for few minutes.

The resale process starts on 10 May - and will continue right up to the day before for each day's play as people release tickets they can't use due to illness/changes in plans. You should have a good chance of getting tickets via that process - if you are flexible on court choices and keep trying daily post 10 May (and on 10 May).

It may be they release some tickets over the next day or two re failed card payments today - not sure. First week appears to be fully sold out for now - second week its only ground passes. You could check back late tonight or tomorrow re today's initial sale - as they might release a few more.

Why there are available tickets for Quarterfinals for outside courts?
Because nothing interesting in outside courts ?

And what does half-price (~25 years old ) mean?

There will be doubles and juniors and veterans matches on the outside courts in week 2. Its also a good opportunity to watch matches on say Simonne Matthieu court which is free access second week - and more generally enjoy the complex as its much quieter.

Week 1 is absolutely rammed - and the complex really can't cope with the crowds - especially around Lenglen which is just so crowded especially when matches end. Its not a pleasant experience with a ground pass unless you are very tall! A week 2 ground pass will mean you will actually get to watch some tennis!

Just a shame RG don't do charity resales for the main courts like Wimbledon - so ground pass holders can occupy seats no longer needed in the evening.

Half price seats are for under 25s.

Is it possible to buy tickets (on first rounds) being already in Paris on 30 may - 10 June?

Question for who was in Roland Garros and had such experience?

Barcelona just after Easter - it’s cheap and quieter on the Monday and Tuesday. And then it gets full on Wednesday when Rafa and now Carlitos play their first matches! Near the metro in the city as well so easy to get too and a beautiful old club as well. It may be one of your final chances to see Rafa play this year?!

Or the Portugal open near Lisbon in early April - a bit of a trip from the city on the train but Estoril/Cascais are by the sea so nice places to visit. And the event is not too crowded.

Much prefer them to Madrid and Rome - you get a more intimate experience and get to see the many of the top players.

I haven’t been to the Munich or Geneva events so can’t comment.

Quite a few challengers too - where you can watch some close to top players with few crowds at all.

Yes - but they are only available on line via the Roland Garros ticket resale. Just sign up to their ticketing portal and book when there. You cannot queue up on the day.

There are still ground passes available via the initial sale for the second week. They cost as little as 10 euros - so no no big loss if you can’t attend.

I went to first two days of qualies last year in Monte Carlo masters, saw carlos and stef play a practice, took selfie with carlos at free promo event. I'm going to first two days of qualies this year at Barcelona and Madrid, will report back but unsure where such trip report posts go?
