He needs to play ATP tournaments already, I think he wants to achieve more than being a second coming of Lu.

He's just too good for challengers. After next week's challenger in Seoul I'd imagine him to be fully on the main tour.

Hyeon Chung b.19.5.1996
18y 11m ATP-69 (11.5.2015)

Novak Djokovic b.22.5.1987
18y 11m ATP-71 (15.5.2006)
He'll be 69 or higher if he wins Seoul, though.

Great breakthrough for 19 y.o. (next week) teenager, although Djokovic already only played on ATP tour back at 2006, like Coric this year, but I think that Chung will make this transition as quickly as Coric, both heading for top 30 finish next season.

I mean, good for him, but playing it's getting ridiculous how many challengers he is playing. He really needs to take the next step to playing qualies for 250s because he is really too good for this level tennis anymore. I get he is getting easy points, but this is too Goffin-esque for me. He won't be a great player with this schedule. He might be decent, but certainly not great. In fact, because has played so few non-challenger tournaments, I can't even get a read of how good he really is.

I think he is honestly hurting himself with this schedule, regardless of what his ranking is...

Give him a break. He just now got into the top 100. It's not like he's been at this level for a year. This is a very recent development. It'll be an issue if he's playing challengers still in a few months
