Poor Ferrer. He never changes, from age 20 until today.

Ferrer is still playing at a good level then? Just blowing matches as usual...
How do you figure he's still playing good level from THIS match?

Sure, there was that strong Ferrer flavor in this match. But back in the days he would've still won it in the end, somehow, anyway. And you'd be complaining about him prolonging it via almost choking it away, turning it into an unnecessary marathon to delay the next match that you wanted to see, about Ramos-Vinolas faltering cheaply in the final set despite the momentum and thus failing to stop Ferrer from winning another MM, etc. etc.

Now all of that belongs in the past. Watching him play in this twilight of his career kind of feels like watching his holograms.

Emotional watching this one. Ferrer still has the guts and the desire but as we saw in Auckland, one bad move and it can be all over, at least for that week

Really want to see Ferrer snatch a couple of upsets before he hangs em up in Madrid
