Good win by Roberto.
Cheaterato was the defending champ and for the 4th time in 5 tournaments he lost in the first round. Tried to vulture a challenger in between and didnt even manage to win that
A drop of 37 places and now plummets out of the top 100 with a live ranking of 110.

Good riddance. Back to the challengers now you scrub!

this mafioso guy has some kind of a beautiful game, covered by an infinite number of stupid choices and unforced errors, he's really unclutch these days. Losing in straights to Baena sounds pretty bad, but gotta admit that RCB played a very good match, with decent serving and not making errors on important points. Grinding to death in rallies on this surface is what you need to beat this version of Marco.

Cecchinato has the worst trajectory from being truly clutch to being truly not clutch.

Mental state has detoriated a lot, toll of so many close losses, and eventually he made those close losses his staple.

He lost 6/8 matches at one point late last year, and in all 6 he won the first set.
