This generally would be an upset, but in current times with the respective form of both players, this was the expected result. Ramos was better in every department and earned the victory. Vic competed alright, but too many mishits and errors and just couldn't hit through nor around Ramos with consistency. The difference in serves also was a major factor, as Hanescu just didn't get into many return games the second set.
