Re: Bucharest F: Dimitrov def. Rosol 7-6(2) 6-1

please. im by no means a fan of dimitrov but the far more talented player here won. Grigor will be a top player for years to come while rosol is a brainless and over ranked ball basher.

Dimipova played a clutch game. Rosol tried hard to response but nothing worked

Re: Bucharest F: Dimitrov def. Rosol 7-6(2) 6-1

  • First career title on clay
  • Now has titles on all surfaces (hard, indoor, clay) except grass
  • Ends Rosol's 9-match winning streak in Bucharest
  • Back up to #14 in the rankings, #7 in the race (#8 if Nishikori wins Barcelona)
Grigor :yeah:

Congrats Dimitrov, and Rosol for making the final. I doubt many people expected him to do this from his form as of late.

Pretty disappointing 2nd set, Rosol just collapsed against the pushing of Dimugtrov. Still see nothing from him to make me believe he'll be any better than GasCoke or Mugshreiber, probably worse

Should've been a routine 6-3, 6-1 win, but well, Dimitrov always makes things look tougher. Well, congrats to him, 3rd career title (1st on clay), 7th in the race (pending Nishikori result today) and 14th in the world again, 2200 points, closer to the top 10!

As for Rosol, good fight in the 1st set, totally folded in the 2nd. Should've insisted in those twing who were working great for him: agressive return with the backhand in 2nd serves and serve & volley on deuce court.

He is already better than Gasquet and Kohlschreiber. Neither of those players have an ATP 500 title. ;)

Vesely, Stakhovsky and Rosol - now that's as tough of a road to the title as it gets. Probably worth at least couple of Masters or even a slam :worship:
