No thread? Only saw the second set, but the quality was pretty high. Steve was moving better than usual. Kei looked sharp, jerking Johnson all over the court. Steve's serve kept him in the match for the most part. His backhand is ugly. THAT IS ALL.

6-4 7-5. Thought it was a pretty shit match myself, less close than score suggests. Nishikori returned horribly, but Johnson was just an error machine.

Happy to see the problems with the serve sorted out.

Johnson was serving really well,but he was ballbashing in rallies.
Kei was serving well too,but he didn't have enough rally practice.
Tomic or Kokkinakis will be very tough.
