David wins:
D. Nalbandian 6 6

G. Simon 3 2

Yesterday I could watch this match just to score 3-1 in the first...
Sorry David, me was so tired...:)

But I could not believe that it will be so easy (by scores at least).

Next is F. Volandri (ITA)...
may be you will give us one more easy win, Dave?
plz

If we look on the results table above,
we can see that (of course they are all good in the end...)
again David shows poor serve... simon got 5 break points there..and Dave made just only one ace...

But David could save those f-n 5 break points!
and he has executed 4 from 7 such points vs Simon himself...
and he had only one double foult this time :)
---------------------------------
i wish David could imrove his first serve and do it like Roddick does:)
then David (with the rest of his talent) will win all Grand Slams in the row...;)

I guess you weren't able to watch the match. David did want it, that's why was extremely frustrated with his own performance.
Apart from that he knows that he needs all the ranking points he can get. - But Volandri simply played a great match.

I think it's safe to say that he was on fire when he won his titles and also when he beat Federer at the Rome Masters in 2007. ;)

you can believe or not, but, when the match just started, i found that Volandri is very motivated,
and looks as a some kind of "small hero"... as small Gladiator, Spartacus...:)
i understood that David will probably loose...

"oh no, not today please", i said...:D
but anyway David could and should win that match...

by the way, i did not know about Federer, thanx:wavey:
