many of his returns against Davydenko did not even reached the net
That's nothing compared to his "touch" and wonderful volleys (who didn't reach the net either :worship:) I'm still :haha: at his sliced FH on BP at the end of the 2nd set

He has had an awful day today at this department and he´s always been bad at returning fast serves bc of the swings he has on both sides plus the factor that he´s not too skillful at blocking them back properly. But I can easily name you over 20 players worse than him at this in top 100

it was. is he always returning like this?
it's surely his weakness
would be already 10-20 places up in ranking with a better return

so why is he not going a step behind? it would do better for him.

he lost this match due to his shitty return game.

And 15 places up there with a better footwork
+ 15 places up there with a better brain in court
Anything else, Young Einstein?

another 15 places with twenty bounces before a serve?

He needs to improve on it that´s for sure, Pistolesi should be smart enough to help him with that I think. If he hasn´t won Davydenko today, then it will be hard for him to do it in a future as he will hardly find another day when Davy feeds him off around 50 ues in 2 sets

He's flashy in all parts...what do you expect?

Admittedly, the stats aren't complimentary, especially as Kolya doesn't exactly serve bombs.
