Why is Tursunov out? Still the foot thing?
Yes. He's out of Atlanta as well. Hopes to play Washington but unsure if he'll be able to.
Huge drop in the rankings coming as he has 1/3 his total points to defend in Washington and Cincy alone.

I wouldn't go that far.
He's 12-12 on HC's this year, only 2 wins on the tour, so he won't be making MD's with that record.
Guaranteed Top 100 after this week, with only 74 points to defend for the rest of the year. Main draws are a comin. :p

Duckworth. Smith. Reid. Saville.

Wonder if Guccione will try and qualify again here.

This is a huge chance for Tomic to reestablish himself as a top 100 tour player at least. He will probably blow it of course.

He'll probably turn up for the appearance money, realise that playing at high altitude isn't much fun and tank. Any scenario that doesn't involve him exiting this tournament in a tank seems unlikely to me.

It'll be interesting to see how Ivo's back will be after a quite long week in Newport. Nice to see Groth on the list, this tournament will definitely suit him and his big serve.

Top 4 get bye's right? Ivo should be #2 so that will help make him fresh. Not very dangerous looking field. He should go far.

Giraldo not playing in Bogota?

Has he grown a hardcourt hater? He only played 7 matches on HC this year with only two wins. He used to play hard court/clay about 50/50, nowadays he doesn't seem to be bothered to play on hc at all.
