Damn, if Munoz-De La Nava won he would have reached top 100 for the first time at the tender age of 33. Still plenty of chances to do that, of course.

Bourgue played some extremely sexy dropshots, first Challenger title for him. He has really been an under the radar player, but steadily improving for years now.

An another man (after Benoit Paire) from my city: Avignon. Happy for Mathias after some issues in challengers since the beggining of his career (juste five 2R). Mathias comes through this week and beats other frenchies (Guez, Millot 7/5 in the third, W/O against Maximo Gonzalez in QF then Hemery and finally Munoz de la Nava). Bourgue is a little bit lucky seeing the facts of the week: very close vs Millot, injured Gonzalez, then a tired Hemery after three tights 3 sets matchs and finally a win over 33yrs old Munoz de la Nava who won Moscou last Sunday.

But this title will allow him to keep his place among the top 250. Mathias has 6 x 18 points of Futures Win to defend there until the end of July so 108 points. With this title, he makes 80.. Come on Mathias!
