Blast from the past: Federer's match turning moment RG2009 & improved baseline play

Interesting short interview with Federer on ATP World Tour site:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/Media/Video-Landing/*/Tennis/Media/Videos/Uploaded/2015/5/9/Roger-Federer-ATP-Player-Profile-Delivered-By-Fedex.aspx?q=ATP Player Profiles&f=&or=0#ooid=Z1NzRydDof6y1pwsI-Xn7CJu72tx18x-

Federer mentions a crucial moment in his match against Haas in R16 of RG2009 having been behind 2 sets and how it lead him to win that match, and later his maiden RG crown in Nadal's absence. You wonder had he lost that match, perhaps Soderling would have won RG2009...

He also mentions how he used to be 'panicky' on baseline points but became more confident on the baseline having played the likes of Hewitt and Nalbandian often early on in his career.

Discuss.

I wish ATP would stop doing player face close-ups. You could see the liver spots on his face. How old is this guy again? 70?

One of the most important points Federer in his career https://youtu.be/omFz_TA3XEc?t=6m44s
Yeah he also got lucky the break pt on Haas' serve right after with that lob near the lines and Haas failed to put away another time at the net.
