Am I really crazy or does James has a brother who also plays tennis? :silly:
I think I've seen his brother playing a tournament once, but I'm not sure at all :rolls: :smash:

Thomas plays, yes. There is some resemblence, but they aren't built the same. Thomas is taller and lankier, if I remember correctly. I saw him in a 10K final last year :p
Oh, thanx! :D

But I think I saw him on TV, most probably with a WC?

Thanx for the info once again, good to know I'm not that crazy yet! :D
Umm a dumb question but is Blake's mother white? cos the comentator on ES keeps saying "that's Blake's mother on the far left" and the lady is white
Yes, she is white and English, possibly a factor that helped him get a wildcard to Wimbledon.

Yes, Thomas plays tennis. He played World Team Tennis so check their website for more info about him and some pictures. He is very tall and in my opinion, even better looking than James. I'm sure the ATP site has his results and such on their site as well. He's super nice, a little bit more relaxed and willing to chat than James (but of course, he doesn't have the kinds of pressures that James has).

Thomas Jr. is the older brother of James. He's the guy with the big hair sitting in the far right of the players box during today's match.

Like James, he played at Harvard, but has mostly been on the futures/challengers circuit as a pro (career high ranking of 264). He occasionally plays ATP doubles with James--when they can get a wild card-- and/or ATP qualifying tournaments. (He hasn't qualified since Tokyo 2002.) After I saw him play WTT this summer, it was very clear why he has not progressed any further than he has.

What's wrong with his game?
LouLou, you didn't know that? Should have asked me!

I knew he was the guy with big hair . Actually, I only decided to start this thread after seeing him there, I was quite sure I had seen that face before in a tennis court  :p

Thanx for everyone's replies once again! :wavey: :D

I think I knew, I just wasn't sure, vale! ;)

And I didn't ask you cuz you weren't online when I wanted to know thar  :wavey:
But if his mother is English, why don't they ask him to play for GBR like they do every time with Popp when he wins a match?

He has to live in the UK for 3 years and James has never lived there, whereas Popp has lived in England.

We have been known to try and claim him as British on the odd occasion. He hasn't really gone far enough at Wimby yet for us to go over the top, rest assured if he reaches the 2nd week at some point and the proper Brits are out we'll be claiming him as a born and bred Brit :p
