It wasn't a choke. Great match from both players, Mathieu's backhand and forehand were sensational. Some unbelievable defensive tennis from Blake to save those two match points.

What a choke.

This is one of the worst chokes I've seen in my life. The guy was the better player 5 sets long and throws it away in the final 3 games :haha:

Harsh to call PHM a choker on that match.
He perhaps choked a little bit the first time he was broken back in the fifth set but after that,he played as well as he could.
Blake was just on fire at the end.

It's hard to believe that Mathieu has lost second time in career a match having double match point on serve in the 5th set! Blake should play more often against Calleri or Mathieu to build self-confidence after winning tight matches :lol:

:woohoo: What a victory! Even though PHM had two match points on serve, he didn't really choke on them. On the first one Blake played some amazing defense and was able to force the error and the second one PHM barely missed the FH. Great job Blake. :worship:
