Good win James
- Johansson was twice two points from taking 1st set at 5:4
- Blake had many break points at 4:2 in the second set for a double break but typically for him, lost three games in a row :help:
- In the tie-break Blake had 4:2, then ToJo two set points: on serve (6:5) and another (9:8) on Blake's serve

Blake this year has won 7 sets after saving set point and lost 5 after wasting SP. Good stats for a choker like he is :yeah:

First blake has to play ricardo mello. You never what to expect from Blake.
Second karlovic has to overcome Sam Querrey.
Untill then it is too early to discuss about that match.
in the original post i said qf against karlovic/querrey. im pretty sure blake will overcome mello.

Congrats to Blake. Hope he starts another march again towards another try for a title (sorry loss against Radek last week), if only to prove that an American (in the Open era) is still very much around, very much in contention, still a power to reckon with. Indeed, it is time James or Andy (or Novak for that matter) stood up against the two (you know who); otherwise, it will be a Switzerland-Spain ballgame from here on (or at least for the next 5 or 6 years).
