Edmund didn't face a single BP. Will move up to 102nd, just 1 point out of the top 100.

Excellent win and another great tournament for Kyle. His year so far has been promising and hopefully he continues his improvement with some good showings on the atp your.

Good week for him. He's going in the right direction for sure; I think he has a chance to be the Brit #2 by the end of the year, or at least close to Bedene in the rankings.
Bedene isn't British.

He is now - where have you been? He is the current GB #2.

If you don't agree you had better contact the ATP - that's what he is on their rankings list!
He might be by the three letters next to his name (GBR) but in hindsight he's as British as Jimmy Wang.

Anybody who has been through the correct process to receive British Citizenship is legally British. You may not think it's a good thing, but it's a fact - so to say he is not British is just plain wrong. In your opinion he may not be - but I'm afraid your opinion does not count for anything legally.

Anyway this thread is about Kyle Edmund. Back on topic. He is a good prospect - not Murray standard of success, but I think he should have a good career.

If we're going to take it like that then the "British" Top 6 consists of a Scot, two Englishmen, a Slovenian, a South African and an Auzzie :D

He's made a bit of a blunder here. He was on the list for Atlanta and would have been in the qualifying draw but he couldn't because he went far in this challenger.

He probably won more points here than he would have had Atlanta to be honest

Looking at it, you're probably right.

The real mistake with hindsight is not entering Lexington instead of Atlanta as he could have gotten an SE there.

Very true. He could have done well at Lexington with his current form.
