The biggest choke of the season so far without doubt is verdasco v soderling in rome verdasco leading 6-2,*5-4 40-0. and losing 2-6,7-5,6-4.

Then there was also verdasco v raonic in san jose 1st set verdasco leads 6-2 in the tie break and loses it 6-8.

What other big chokes have their been this year?

tipsarevic vs delpo at delray beach

tipsy was leading 4-1 with 3 bp's on delpo's serve, against an exhausted delpo who could hardly move, and still managed to lose somehow.

also fed in FO final first set was huge choke. he probably would have lost had he won the first set anyway but he had so many chances to put that first set away and make the match actually competitive for a while, and he completely gifted the match to nadal

Andy serving for the match against Nole in Rome, and turning into Dementieva. It's hard to say choke with Novak, since he has the best return of serve in the game, but a few big serves and Andy would have won.

Olderer didn't choke in RG final. Nadal raised his level and he had no answer.

I don't know about the other sets... but the first set in fed/nadal french open final was a choke of epic proportions by federer.

Nadal didn't "up" his level that significantly, federer just couldn't get a serve in for ahit. That was an epitome of choke.

Verdasco has quite a few of them this year... but i wouldn't call that a choke because he always ends up fucking it up anyways...

Murray vs djoker in rome was a choke.

Verdasco could be a university professor in the art of choking.

His resume is quite impressive.

didn't tipsarvic have an easy volley to the open court on a mp on his own serve vs. verdasco at AO?

hahaha, no one mention f.lo choke to fed.
It wasn't really a choke though, was it? It was pretty much anybody's match.

2:02 onwards. Just pathetic effort from Janko after those wasted MP. Had the nerve to blame it on cramps

Kohlschreiber dropping second set tiebreak(and match) from 6-1 to 6-8 against Del Potro in Indian Wells was bad.

De Bakker's total collapse against Monfils at the Australian this year...7-6 6-2 5-2 and then lost 7-6 6-2 5-7 2-6 1-6. Just mind-blowing how awful Thiemo fell apart

Kavcic to Fognini in Casablanca was hilarious stuff, would've loved to have seen the Fog's strut during this one.

Stats say Murray has the best return. Just thought I'd throw that out there, since everyone is going crazy for the Djokovic return.
