None of them were better than today he had 56 winners to 11 UE and served at like 75% right on the lines.

Last time he played this well was the Cincinnati 2012 final, after that, he declined really bad.

So this was his best performance in 3 years. Better than the Wimbledon 2012 level. That was an indoor match mostly, today he did it outdoor.

This is a slam match, for him it's much tougher to sustain the tempo during BO5 matches. That's why his performance was so great. And it was against one of the best grass courters of this generation, so this performance > anything since W 2012 double against Novak and Andy. Out of the above-mentioned, Cinci 2012 was very good as well, but Djokovic was dreadful in the first set. And Dubai this year was very close to today's performance, but just for 2 sets.

Shanghai v Djoker was phenomenal, as was the Cincinnati match.

I don't think he was particularly good in the Wawrinka match; I seem to remember Wawrinka blew it. (WTF match, that is)

Aus Open 2014 v Murray belongs nowhere near today's performance. He was very good, but that was Murray's sixth(?) match back after surgery.

Some good performances in there, especially Dubai and Shanghai wins over Djokovic and Cincinnati. The fact that this was in a slam though makes this more impressive. When you look at this career this is Federer's biggest win probably since the Wimbledon 2012 final (similarly Murray was aiming for his biggest win since the Wimbledon 2013 final - beating Raonic and Berdych in slam SFs is not as big as beating Murray or Federer). 2012 Cincinnati was probably his best between those two, though his 2012 WTF SF and Final were also good. This is his best stuff since that period imo.
