Inspired by Benneteau and Robredo's runs at Cincy, who are the best players without:

any ATP Title
a Masters 1000
a Grand Slam

My list:

Pospisil, Istomin, Benneteau

Berdych, Del Potro, Gasquet, Cilic (I'm leaving the young guns out)

Berdych, Tsonga, Ferrer

Re: Best Players w/o Title/M1000/GS

I would think the best player without a title - though this wont be long - is Dominic Thiem

Without a title - Janowicz and Thiem.
Without a MS1000 - Del Potro, Ferrer (Paris is asterisked due to tired Janowicz in the Final)
Without a Slam - Tsonga, Berdych, Ferrer

Title - Janowicz is probably the best shout
Masters - Del Po
Slam - I honestly don't think there are any active players that shockingly have no slams, but if I had to choose one: Ferrer.

Muller
del Potro

Baldenko was the definition of a best of 3 specialist. How can you say he was the best player without a slam when he was such a clown in slams throughout his career? He sucked in best of 5 matches.

The problem with Janowicz is inconsistency. He can be good for an event or two, but is absolutely dire the rest of the year. He needs to learn how to grind a little and not just go for broke every shot. If he can stay calm mentally and implement some small changes into his game he's sure to win a title soon.

I disagree. He beat some top players on the way to Slam semifinals just to run into the Fedfan buzz saw.

Davydenko retired and you're still mad that he's a better player than Nadull :worship: Must hurt Nadulltard :wavey:

Istomin is also a good shout. IDK why he hasn't won one yet.
He has the talent, but has he ever even been in a final?

Edit: Ahh, I vaguely remember his one against Stakho, but for some reason don't ever remember him being in the San Jose final :p

Davydenko is also retired, so he doesn't count.
