Gicquel didn't take his chance in the mug event in Rotterdam, he barely beat in Besancon two compatriots - Chardy (who retired) and Mannarino (lucky loser). Today he had an easier job with Kevin Kim (very expected semifinalist, lol). And he takes on Peya, who also has a chance to win doubles with Petzschner.

Hmm, any Gicquel's eastern forehand fans to celebrate? :p

Deserved by Gicquel, who was a better player. Peya was very average.

Beck has a big chance to win Cherbourg, IMO ;). He starts with a match against #2 Yuri Schukin, but Schukin can be sometimes miserable :tape: and Beck had a few days to rest ;).
