Another good performance. I was disappointed in his showing vs. Nishikori (there's no way he should lose his serve so many times vs. anyone), but he looks very fit and motivated in 2015.

Speaking of which:

Bernie says he learned from his loss to Nishikori in Brisbane and made sure to be more aggressive and start stronger

Very impressive. I'm very confident he is going to have a great year this year. He seems confident, commited and fit. A career high ranking is surely going to come. Hopefully he can keep doing well this tournament and will get a good draw come AO.

On a side note his changed accent is still bizzare.

Another really good result here. Apart from the Nishikori match this has been a great start to the year for him. He really means business this year. His march to the title continues

He is also back up to 65 in the live rankings. With a few more wins here and a good showing in Melbourne he should be back in the top 50.
