Look everyone, Kohli can be clutch :wavey:

Kohli was down a break in the third, and it took 5 BPs to break at 2-*3 to even the score. He was 5-*3 up in the first set tiebreaker and 4-*2 second serve in the final set tiebreaker, both times he lost his immediate two service points to fall behind in the breakers. But he found a way to get the job done in over 2 1/2 hours.

One can say it's a bad sign he's struggling in the first round of qualies against a player like De Voest, but a win is a win and Kohli sure needed to win this sort of match for his crumbling confidence.

Yes you're right Filo. But the problem is, but de Voest isn't a decent player in my eys. So this Scoreline is a bad sign. But maybe to save a Match Point helps him for his confidence and to win against Zemlja

Well, we already knew his form sucked. That should come as no surprise. He's really only been good in three events, Halle and Indian Wells, plus the Turkish challenger, although he didn't even win that. The other events he hasn't done anything and you take his Halle tournament out he's below .500 in ATP MD matches, and he was around .500 last year.

I don't know what the deal is with him and why he hasn't been able to put things together with his game, but he isn't good mentally and any win like this helps in that regard.
