First tour level win for any Moldovan outside of DC, if I'm not mistaken. Congrats :yeah:
You are not mistaken, and the man on the crowd who told Kenny that fact when De Schepper was 3 SP up (6-5* 40-0) wasn't mistaken as well.

Historical win today for Albot and Moldovian tennis! Thanks Kenny for your kindness and your understanding of the situation :hearts:

I remember an interview with Kenny from 2009 when he claim that breaking in top 200 would be a "dream come true" for him. He has achieved much more than that. He was nobody few years ago. Just another "run of the mill" futures player.

Maybe he had some option in that weak tournaments of Bogota and Newport but they are too far from Europe. Kenny is trying his best in order to be a clay court specialist plus he likes big challengues. No vulturing from the Bordeaux sensation :worship:

It is very clear that you don't know what was really happening out there. Kenny made a whole country of more than 3 million of population happy about that result. That Albot victory will help tennis in Moldova; kids will start telling their fathers that they want to do the same as Albot and Moldova will be a force in tennis in 20 years book it  Kenny preffers to sacrifice his career and get back to Challengers due to this corrupt ranking system if this means that he is making a lot of people happy with Albot winning a MD ATP match :worship: The good of tennis is above his personal ambitions, that is why he is a living legend and the MTF 2015 Favourite player.

Yes, he is happy and knows his privilege of being a professional tennis player. Kenny always is one of the nicest players on the tour with the fans, I speak from my own experience in Barcelona all over those last years: he takes photos with everybody, chats with people, gifts all the towels that he has, etc. In his R64 match versus Ilhan this year he was signing tennis balls to a French family like for 5 minutes. Kenny and Cilic were two of the nicest players out there, not like people like Paire or Dolgopolov or Verdasco who were constantly skipping fans.
