Don't use the "Murray lost in the 1st round of AO" excuse to justify your answer because we all know what happened when Rafa faced the same opponent.

Nadal. Silly question.

It's pretty tight, both guys have been about the same level, but Nadal is the second best player in the world, and he isn't really doing his rank justice, I think. Then again, this isn't his favourite part of the year.

This is a silly poll Nina. The answer is obvious. Who has won a title? How about a poll between Rafa and Fed... that's a better question, if a good question at all. :yeah:

Ask the same question after Wimbledon. So far neither player has much to show for. By then Nadal will have a chance to defend his titles on clay and Murray will have a chance to show his hard court (IW and Miami) and grass skills. Something tells me that Nadal's gonna come out on to...by a mile.

Murray. He's won two titles and beaten Federer.

What's Nadal won? Gotten killed in the Dubai Final and at the Australian Open?
But you forgot to mention that Nadal got killed in semi finals of AO 2008, which is grater achievement than 2 Mickey Mouse tournaments Murray won.

Why the hell shouldn't I mention Murray's AO performance? No one knows what'd have happened if Nadal met Tsonga in the 1st round< or for that matter if Murray ment him in the semis. The fact remains, that GS performances count before everything else, and Nadal got to a semi while Murray flamed out 1st round. In fact, he managed to slide down the rankings in spite of his two tournament wins - that's the relative value of his titles right there.

Murray - hence he has picked up 2 titles already whereas Nadal hasnt picked up one yet. Nadal also has had some bad losses (especially Seppi and the thrashing by Youzhny).

Nadal's year is highlighted by his SF Australian Open run. He will warm up by the time the clay season arrives and will excel until August!
