Third ATP victory in Cervantes' career :)

He suffered arm injury early in 2013, had an operation, played 3 matches in May & June only to be sidelined again. Last month he started playing tournaments again (won a futures in Croatia as a qualifier).

Under these circumstances it is a great win for him. If not for the injuries he would have made it to the TOP 100.

We gonna see what's going on in R2 again Tursunov.

Isn't it (partly) because of playing college tennis?
Not sure, but he's 27 now, so I think if he did play college it was a long time ago, at least 5 years probably, unless he stayed there for awhile.

It's great he's been able to make the tour though, even if he won't be successful, sadly after matches like this, the chances of him staying on tour aren't looking good, hopefully it's just an injury that explains this loss more than anything.

Yes. He played 4 seasons at Oklahoma State. He was a great college player, even got to #1 briefly.

Great match from Cervantes, he played out of his heart and worked very hard for this victory. Nedovyesov didn't play his best but there were not serious physical issues (or at least I didn't notice any important problem).

Iñigo needed this win a lot. I am far from a fan of his, but he has had a really tough time with injuries.

Nedovyesov is a major disappointment this season.
