Congrats Nico you old warrior, keep up the slices, the lobs and the dropshots. He probably pissed Verdasco off so much he was hitting balls into Camp Nou.

Verdasco always had a look in Lapentti's service games but he was strong on the big points.

What's up with Verdasko lately? Sad. But, credits to Lapenti.

lately? he has always been a choking mindless ball basher(and an overrated one at that), any good tactician can beat him...

Lapentti has been playing some good tennis as of late hopefully he can get himself back in the top 50...

I was chatting with someone who did see this match and said Verdasco called for the trainer after the first set and seemed to have something wrong with a toe, like a blister. Also said he was wincing in pain near the end of the match.

Nico was close to beating Verdasco a couple of weeks ago and this time he's managed a good win, another good win after last week. Keep up the good stuff Nico :yeah:

Was not expecting this either. Verdasco owned Lapentti before today. Damn it too - got knocked out of Suicide Tennis with this score.

Nico :worship:

It would be nice to see some sort of revival here.
