Kohli has struggled against Ferrer. In fact, he has not beaten him since 2008. But this should be a good match. Looking for a win by the German.

Last encounter was a total chokejob by Kohli IIRC (hardly a rare occurrence tbf). Wouldn't be surprised if this was something similar.

Kohli has the goods as evidenced by the tight scorelines but hasn't seen the end of the tunnel. If Ferrer has a lapse like second set yesterday, Kohli may have his chances. But still a long shot. Good luck, I guess!

There was an epic tiebreak as I remember. Phil started choking, David choked some points in response, but Phil was having none of it - he wasn't gonna leave anyone in doubt about who the superior choker was.

Probably Ferrer in 2.

Kohli is such a talented player, it's a shame he clowns so much/is a headcase.

Of course, if he plays a good match here, he ought to win against Ferrer's defensive grinding, but expect a choke even if he's ahead.
