Simone made waves on the doubles circuit with Fognini making the USO SF and clinching the tie for Italy over Chile with Fabio, but now it's time for him to get his singles career back on track. This is a good start in the right direction. Only lost 12 service points.

The draw isn't that difficult so the potential is there for a deep run this week from Simone barring where he gets placed in the draw. Hopefully he takes advantage.

Amir impressed me at US Open qualies taking Capdeville to three sets, had never seen him play before or even heard of his name. Then Amir won a match in Davis Cup vs. Canada I think he beat Raonic? I like his game, one hander backhand, nice form. Nice potential.
