Paradorn start this year season with an impressive performance. His ranking has been improving from last year at 150, now he's already enters top 33 in ATP entry ranking.
His incredible tennis was starting from last year December. He hold 2 consecutive challenger title, King’s & Queen’s Cup 2001 and Asian Championship 2002. From that point was the start of something big for him. After that Paradorn continue playing great tennis by making upset 3 big name players in a row ( Thomas Johanson, Max Mirny, Andrei Pavel ) after lost to Guillermo Canas in the final of Tata Open 2002, Chennai.
He was still on fire and beated no. 1 seeded, Sebastian Grosjean in Adidas International 2002, Sydney. In Siebel Open 2002, San Jose, USA, he nearly make the world-shock by nearly upset the world no. 1 Layton Hewitt. Hewitt fought off four match points and won the final five points of a third-set tiebreaker to beat Paradorn 6-7(2), 6-4, 7-6(6). ( Paradorn led 5-2 in the third set and had a match at 5-3, but Hewitt broke Paradorn’s serve twice to force a tiebreaker, then rallied from a 6-3 deficit to win. )
Paradorn works so hard and has improved his mental concentration in order to get into top 50 of his goal. His confident grow up step by step and has reached the third round of Grand Slam in French Open for the first time of his career ( by upset Thomas Enqvist ).
Now He beated Agassi. I'm very happy with his performance.
Hope Paradorn can continue this great form and will reach top 20 of his goal soon. I’m proud of you and you made Thai people proud. We are all love you.
