Yeah . I hate the gym . Really do . I played a singles match ( club championships ) a few hours after finishing in the gym yesterday and lost 1 and 3 . Gained a niggling shoulder injury that hurt like mad . On the plus side ' the player who beat me asked me if I could play in one of the club teams in a few days . I can't wait .

i would not of played so soon after going to the gym normally but i was anxious to play my match .

Now that I have more time, 3 hours on court followed by another hour gym is my routine, but it depends on the day, how you feeling, and if you have tournament that weekend or not

I am quite fit anyway but usually if I have a serious gym session it means no tennis for that day . If I am playing then I tend to just work on arms and core .
