Well, Volandri is a good claycourt player, this score isn't a shame, but the fact is, Massu has been collected many results like this one and in fact this doesn't indicate his career well.

imo massu should call it a career. his results are very poor on clay.
well as long as he makes more money playing pro than not playing and doesn't mind the travel it is his call ;)

Anyway, it's curious but even being a claycourter, Massu's best results are in hard:
Best GS: R16 in US Open 2005 (lost to Coria)
Best TMS: Runner Up in Madrid 2003 (lost to Ferrer)
Best achievement: Singles and Doubles Olympics 2004
