Hey guys I found this online and thought it would be helpful through January, it's Channel 7's dedicated broadcast hours for this summer of tennis, starting tomorrow with the Hopman Cup and the Brisbane International apparently. Times are listed for the different time zones.

Did the Brisbane International always start it's coverage on the Sunday? I don't recall that before.

Thanks for posting that Dmitry. Since matches are on 7mate does that mean that they'll be in HD? I've always thought 7mate was a waste of a HD channel (along with the rest) when all they broadcast are shows like Pawn Stars... Coverage looks good though! I think last year they showed Brisbane on Sunday but that might have been the first.

Yeah thinking back I was down there at the tournament on the Sunday so I wouldn't know :lol:

WTA event starts on the Sunday as it has a Saturday final whilst the ATP event starts on Monday with a Sunday final.

Btw, is everyone aware that Fox Sports isn't showing the Australian Open this year!!!!! I might die. Although on the 7 press release they did say you could stream from any television court so if that's happening I'm fine!

Pretty sure Channel 7 is showing 2 courts - main channel and 7two

I think if you have a hybrid smart TV, or something like that, you can choose any televised court to watch.

That is typical... TA growing the sport of tennis by reducing the amount of coverage... Go figure that one out.

Going to miss the educated commentary - now will have to turn Old Hack Stolle off and watch in silence...

Atleast we don't have to hear Masur and his lapdog Adam Peacock I used to like Peacock, but he's up Wally's ass like crazy now.

And Fox Sports abandoned their red button coverage too in the past years so it's not a huge loss - it just means Aussies only for the first 4 days probably :lol:
