That said, Ducky did play pretty good at times....had he reduced his errors in important moments, he probably could have won in 4 sets rather than the inverse result.

I was impressed by this kid in the pre-AO tournaments already and I'm more impressed now. Hope he keeps it up. He's such a natural athlete: moves well, generates pace, nice technique, incredibly crisp volleys compared to the tour standard.

You can tell someone has talent when they have such a nice serve and aren't that tall. Just needs to improve the backhand, it let him down too often.

Meanwhile, Tipsarevic did well to weather the early storm and played well in crucial moments. Signs of the maturity that he has discovered during the past year.
