First completed Grand Slam victory for GOATrenzi

Now for the first non-asterisked one against Pospisil or Querrey in the second round. Get well soon, Dolgo.

Paolo Lorenzi hands No21 Alexandr Dolgopolov a 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 defeat that I won't begin to try to understand. Does not compute. #AusOpen
Rothenberg clueless as usual.
Stan won't have to face a seed until the QF now.

Gift draw for Vasek or Querrey. Whoever wins that should make R4, don't mess this up Vasek.

He actually never watches matches, but checks 2-3 stats, here and there. That's tennis journalism these days.
What was up with Dolgo? This scoreline looks badly impressive.
Thanks draw machine. I kid, but what happened to Dolgo? I remembered he also lost in one of the warmups right? How is the match?

Knee injury.
Lorenzi´s odds for 3-0 went from 17 to 3...but it was already 2 days ago, so possibly injury related?
was dolgopolov injured ? impossible to lose against lorenzi in straight sets

It wasn`t even sure he will play the event so no real surprise he lost regardless of the opponent.
Probably the biggest surprise in R1 for me. To be defeated in straights by Lorenzi...My man :worship:
They clearly didn't inform themselves in more things appart from seeing Dolgopolov ranking and Lorenzi's ranking  For them it wouldn't have been difficult to know that Dolgopolov was injured. You don't even need to make an exhaustive search: just go to OddsPortal and watch how the betting markets are pricing each palyer. There is nothing as fair as betting odds, which put balance between worldwide investors opinions.
Fantastic for the game

Goatlrenzi :D
Probably just played for the $30k cheque but you never know with Dolgopolov. He's capable of feat like this even when 100% healthy.

On the contrary. He does watch matches, but focuses on a select few and therefore misses everything else that's going on. At least, that's if his behavior at GS qualies is anything to go by.
really really really really really surprised dolgo completed this match

thought it would be a certain retirement
man, what the hell happened here? I thought for sure Dolgopolov would win this.
