Good boy, Hubi, helping Feliciano to improve his record. I am a bit worried about the W-S tournament a week before USO which he won and went to lose in the 1st round in NY, now the history rhymes. He's also playing against Paire now BTW. Fortunately the draw is kind for Hubi in Melbourne and last year he lost in the first round.
Hurkacz has this tendency to go super defensive at decisive points, which more often than not ends in tears as it did in the 2nd set tiebreaker. I understand he's fundamentally a defensive player, but if he can strike a proper balance between being cautious/defensive and aggressive, he can go a lot higher. He's under-ranked given his potential.
