Welcome to the forum (but are you really a newcomer, I seem to recall your user-name from before).Didn't expect this to come, but considering the fact that Rafa struggled against Nishioka in his previous match, this result is hardly surprising. Goffin is a former top 10 player after all. Rafa still seems rusty coming off the break. It will take him a couple of more matches to get 100% for the Aussie Open, where he will be one of the favorites for the crown along with Joker. Having said that, Goffin seems to have got off to a very good start and top ten is easily within his reach if he can maintain the level he has been demonstrating in this tournament.
