David has confirmed his presence for next year's tournament. Some other tennis player will be:
Guillermo Coria, Gastón Gaudio, Mariano Puerta, Carlos Moyá, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Richard Gasquet, Fernando Gonzalez, Nicolas Massu and Guga among others. The tournament will be played one week after the Davis Cup, so it depends a lot on the draw, because many of them might not get to Argentina after that.
The tournament starts on February 19th.

I'm sure you're happy, Miss Jime! ;)

I wish I could go...many of my favs will be there.
Anyway, thanks for the news. :)
I hope I can go for just one day, and that that day David will play  I'm working a lot, and by that time, I'm sure I won't be able to see much of it. Not even on tv
Go, David.

Damn..that sucks.
I mean, having David playing in my city, and not beeing able to go to see him..
I'm sorry Jime, hope you can make it, at least one day. ;)
This tournament will be called: The Telmex Cup. Telmex is the new main sponsor, and the tournament will have 425.000 in prize, instead of 380.000 as before.
Oh great....more exposure.

Nice to read that Nalbo will be playing his home tourney again. Makes sense considering it's the week after 1st round Davis Cup matches, so Nalbo won't have to change surface or travel.

BTW does this now mean Nalbo won't play the European indoor circuit in February and instead play tourneys like Dubai?
