Yeah, you're right. It's not on Saturday either. I wonder if they will show any of Australia's ties this year before the play-offs. Maybe only the home ties or none at all? The next tie will be played at home in Townsville.

i think a couple of issues here, channel 7 don't want to show a tie which to them is meaningless if they aren't in the actual Davis Cup World Group and probably would of been hard to get tv coverage from chinese taipei

It'll be interesting if the next tie is at home, would be easier for coverage, still would be doubtful seven would show it as we would be into v8 and afl season by then, hopefully abc or sbs could pick it up? We'll see.

When we relegated about 10 or so years, did we have any away tie and were they shown here? I was too young to remember

I didn't watch tennis then so I don't know either.

It's understandable though, can't imagine too many people being interested. The thing is that Seven probably have the rights to it so ABC can't show it, whereas ABC2 showed some of the relegation Fed Cup matches.

yeah, i think that's another problem there. ABC and SBS have shown ties in the past, one year sbs showed the doubles because it was on the same day as the grand final and i think abc showed a tie a while back because of the golf, i think.
