I'm speaking about Roger and Rafa...basically MTF is mostly about them, right?

Both of them are somehow waving the finger, but, definitely there are differences, BIG differences in the way they are doing it (so tards would say, at the very least...):

Roger:

Rafa:

I did not see the above Rafa live, so I must admit i am not sure if it's a "still no.1" kind of attitude...Roger's haters are sure Roger's is that kind of signal...

What do you think?

Are our favourite players really that different?

Actually I see two sore losers and, at the same time, 2 people convinced that they are the best at what they are doing...Something wrong with it? I don't think so...

How dare you imply that MTF doesn't care about Djokovic? We all know that MTF has to bow down to DjokoGOAT.

Back on topic: I'm willing to bet that none of the Noletards who called Roger arrogant for that finger wagging gesture at the FO will say the same about Nadal.

Nice pic of Nadal there though. :)

Sorry :)

The Djoker is on top of things right now, he does not need to wave a finger, he has the ranking on his side :)

Give me a pic of the Djoker waving the finger and i will put him in the debate :)

No, nothing wrong with either of them. As a matter of fact they wouldn't be where they are if they weren't convinced they're the best.
Although I'm curious, when did Nadal wag his finger? I saw his Davis Cup final match, but didn't notice this.

that gesture by federer was clearly aimed at dijana djokovic and roughly it reads as :"spin on this biatch!"

The screaming and fist pumping of Djokovic are way worse than the wave fingering of Federer and Nadal.

Federer did it in Madrid, to shut up the critics that said that he was over and he did it the same thing in RG when everyone was disregarding him as a contender to the title.

I bet Nadal felt the same way after the WTF, so that gesture has the same expression. It means: i still have it and not i´m the best, yada yada yada...

In the end, Djokovic still has to learn a few manners on how to win a match. Too much partying and celebration, for my taste.

Dunno I wouldn't read so much into a finger gesture. It's more common to do a thumbs up but I think it's usually a salute to the crowd/victory celebration. Fedal just toned it down a little but I think that's closer to the truth than some "I'm number one thing"

You see players do it all the time.

Its so simple. You need to apply your 'Start da Tard' logic, the obvious conclusion to be reached: Federer = Arrogant; Nadal = Spartan

Was he waving it? :)

Anyway, nice find ...

So, now, the Djoker is officially part of the debate...

Are the Djoker, Rafa and Roger really that different?

Although, I must say that, imho, Djoker's antics are by far worse, but more enjoyable and sincere at times (I loved him shouting like a madman after all those victories over Rafa  )...

I remember how I used to hate Nadal for all his fist pumping during 2005-2007 when he was beating Roger regularly on clay...I imagine Rafatards felt the same way seeing Djokovic shouting like a mad warrior all over 2011...so, in the end, they're all the same, right?

The only difference being towards which part of the net your feelings are leaning...

You're reading into it too much, mate.

All sports are emotional, and in the heat of the emotion you can show celebrations like Nadal and Roger, to signify you still have it.

I don't think any reasonable person would deny that, but try telling that to (particularly two) individuals who have noised the Fed photo abroad, far and wide, and waved it like a sword of Damocles over Roger's head

Omg, how dare Djokovic go around wagging his finger like he's the #1 when he wasn't the #1! The ARROGANCE!

(If memory serves, that picture wasn't from this year. But I'm not a Noletard so I might be wrong.)

WHAT.

You found two pictures of tennis players over the course of 1 year raising their pointer finger in celebration.

If you search hard enough, you will find pictures of them wearing a jacket, playing tennis and eating a variety of foods as well. They are both rumored to have mothers, as well.

^^In the OP's defence, certain posters in this forum have been bringing up Roger's finger-wagging after his SF victory at the French as evidence of his "arrogance", among other insipid charges.
