I wonder if this is related with Novak bitching about his gif with the ball kid or is something else?

Dear ATP (& the rest of tennis),

I can't think of a worse use of your time than cracking down on a fan making GIFs."

What’s next? YouTube highlight videos? Screengrabs? Fan tribute videos? Vines? You will cripple the sport. Cripple it."

Djokivic is turning his ATP cronies to a Gestapo. The sooner his career is over better for tennis.

They're talking about fans, so this doesn't affect MTF much.

That's a new low for the ATP. First the highlights and now gifs! I will never watch their Uncovered shit.

With doping and match fixing running through the sport, is this really the best use of the ATP's time?

Can't have the sport reaching a new, younger demographic while also getting free advertising now can we.

Indeed. Novak haters are really really desperate here. It is borderline disturbing and disgusting.

Nobidy mentioned Novak on Twitter! We talked about it for hours... We wrote to the ATP....

But MTF is something else. It's all about Novak these days...

Good choice, MTF!

MTF needs to start its own social media platform called "Endless Loop".

This is what it looks like from the sides. The threads were out of proportions really. Hatred is enormous in the social medias and everybody knows that words can kill in reality. I've seen people whose name is X-player - hater in their profile and then the most disgusting words that you can think of are written.

We all remember the Monica Seles case and many other celebrities stalkers. Because they are behind their comps doesn't mean it is safe world. There must be a level of censorship otherwise words are turning into garbage.

Is this for real? Doesn't it kinda beat "freedom to express" kind of thing? I mean it's the Digital Age and this is a big step back in terms of making tennis popular. Surely some GIFs are insulting but all in all they give plain fun and are harmless (most of the time) and usually it does give exposure to the sport more.
