revenge for Sydney

Koubek missed chances in winning the 2nd set as well, served for that set at 5-4

Absolutely deserved win. He was better player all the time in general today.

El Fashionista :worship: . He really should have beaten Moya at Sydney, and thankfully he didn't let Lord Carlos off the hook this time, and I agree that he was the better player.
Koubek was an Aussie Open quarter-final in 2002.

Koubek fought really hard and won!
He can always beat a lot of strong players if he is in form!!!

well deserved win for Koubek. If he had kept his head together in that second set, it would've been a straight-set victory. Moya was... nowhere.

What the fuck are you talking about. This serb guy has a mint backhand.

Then why doesn't he find angles and hits the ball to the middle of the court?

come on, you've probably seen so many Nadal matches that this serbian guy without a backhand shouldn't be found a serious threat

Although it's enjoyable to watch him at times
surely nadal didnt want to play a 3h match in 1st round

Yes, surely. But shouldn't we be used to his slow starts? (not to mention this match against Alun Jones)
