That sounded like a thrilling and very tight match, and thankfully Falla was able to fight back and claim his first ever victory in the main draw at Melbourne, after Anderson provided him with a sterner test than I was expecting.
I love the fact that Alejo has appeared in the main draw of a slam 8 times, and has won a match and progressed to the 2nd round on 7 occasions.
In the 2nd round, he will face GGL, and both players will be looking to reach the 3rd of a grand slam for the first time in their careers.
