In some ways I have done this, but it's not uncommon for players to start playing their best tennis later in their careers now. Berankis is still young. He probably won't be contending for slams but he can still have a solid career in the future.

he started the match like 62 31 down lol. great comeback, thats for sure, even if it was vs sijsling

3-0* up in the second set, 4-1* 40-15 in the third, *3-2 40-15 in the fourth, *6-4 in the tiebreak, hitting a DF :yeah:

It's a miracle he even made it to a fifth set. And we still have Haase to look forward to!

yep, many chances for the mug to honor a perfect combo of mine, but it wasn't meant to be.

Happy for Rycka though, he needs the money and points so much more.

Sijsling was up a break in I think every set (at least four sets), and he only won two of them. Low quality match but I'm glad Berankis finally got through, he should have taken in it 4, opportunity was there.

Typical Sijsling match, nothing really to see here. Congrats to Berankis on reaching R2.
