I don't trust Tennis Australia and the AO organisers for one minute.
GreenSet is just the company laying the turf.
Let's hope it plays like true medium paced Plexicushion, which is the best leveller for a surface in tennis.

Cameron Norrie said the court is ”extremely slow”.

Well, that sounds promising...and judging by the match stats, it really is like Norrie said. Some of these matches take hours and hours. Shapo and De Minaur combined for 30 break points today. Those WTA matches in Brisbane also seem to be very slow.

Nothing new, no.

Stan & Medvedev in Djokovic's 1/8 & Quarter, whereas seeds 7 & 8 Zverev & Berrettini in Nadal's quarter & half.

But, since OHBHipas is allowed to land in Nadal's half, although not into his quarter, no, Berrettini could land in Djokovic's, so that rigging is not as obvious as at Can/Cinci/USO.

Landing positions of Federer and Thiem are not so important, but Federer is more likely to reach SF down under.

Super slow tennis surfaces ! Yay !!

Tennis Gods know that inside every human being is the animalistic urge to watch gladiatorial battles, minus the bloodshed of course.
Let's enjoy players killing each other on the tennis court, with the AO heat adding extra fun to the matches.

Great times ahead !!

Don’t look now but seems Iike BIue CIay of USO wasn't enough for said 'tennis Gods' so they want to bring some of the red dirt conditions to the OZ.

Yes it has been a continuous process of giving the fans what they want, no?
They should consider replacing the tennis balls with atlas stones, so that some of the world's strongest men and women can compete as well.

Its basically green clay. Epic Fail. May the entire event be cancelled. Even the heavens above are ashamed and won't allow play.
Sydney was quite low bouncing (which clay is not) during the ATP Cup finals but that may have been the conditions rather than necessarily the surface.

If these assertions of court conditions r accurate, then my hunch of suspicions regarding former Spanish ATP pIayer being the owner of Greenset serves me correct.

Seriously........ another slowass court. Aren’t there enough slow courts already? Literally just rigging for cheatdal to win. Gonna be another shitfest of pushing, grinding, moon balling, and no talented shotmaking whatsoever. Tennis is gonna die I’m afraid.

If these allegations turn out to b true then like they say, EI padrino aka the Godfakerer surely works in 'mysterious' ways but perhaps Nature wiII trump him this time.
