Albot made a late withdrawal. Giustino gets to play Raonic instead... they are playing in probably about 2 hours as well

Just for a little humor, I checked out various "expert" picks for this tournament:

ESPN.com: Djokovic 9, Nadal 1
Tennis.com: Djokovic 6, Tsitsipas 2, Nadal 1
SI.com: Djokovic (only pick was by Wertheim)
Bleacher Report: Djokovic
Awesemo: Federer (staff pick), Djokovic (computer-model pick)
Tennis-X: Djokovic
John McEnroe: Djokovic
Tennis Canada: Djokovic 7, Medvedev 1
Last Word on Tennis: Djokovic 4, Medvedev 1
Eurosport: Djokovic 5, Kyrgios 1, Tsitsipas 1, Rublev 1, Thiem 1
Topbet: Djokovic 4, Nadal 1
Express UK: Djokovic 5, Federer 1

Assuming no overlap among the experts, we have:

Djokovic 78%
Nadal 5%
Tsitsipas 5%
Medvedev 3%
Federer 3%
Thiem 2%
Rublev 2%
Kyrgios 2%

Well, if most of the "experts" are picking him, maybe Djokovic should be pretty worried now. ;)

Djokovic 81%
Nadal 9.5%
Tsitsipas 9.5%

Well, if all the "experts" are picking him, maybe Djokovic should be pretty worried now. ;)
So 81% went for the safest most obvious and most boring pick? This is disappointing. I think everyone is blinded by his atp cup performances which ultimately weren’t as great as everyone is claiming they were. I say that he’s vulnerable and could lose early like in 2017 when he was the overwhelming favorite as well

Order of play for RLA and MCA tomorrow:

Women's matches are being favoured on both of the 2 main courts over the first 2 days.
Keep in mind that the Australian Open and USO both have day and night sessions so easier for them to equally feature both genders...historically more difficult at Roland Garros and Wimbledon with their respective limitations (no roof on Phillipe Chatrier, Wimbledon curfew, etc.), which is why ATP players are asked ad nauseam about this come summertime

I look forward to the Federer-Sinner R4 match. I hope Roger can make it there. He will likely be rusty given that he didn't play at the Hopman Cup.
