I'm just looking for a free app where I can check livescores and results during the day. I have Tennis Temple installed on my phone which is okay, but rather limited.

Any other suggestions?

If you have a web browser on your phone, you can use this
http://www.livescore.com/tennis.dll

But they also have iPhone and Android apps if you have either of those phones. You can change the sport, the app also gives you football, basketball and hockey scores.

search ATP/WTA live in the app store (I have iphone btw). It is the best app ever, it is the official scoreboard from atpworldtour.com and it has challenger scores as well.

The ATP iPhone app has pretty much everything you need - livescores, challenger results and draws, completed matches, draws, schedule, etc.

So I just installed the Aussie Open iPad App. And it sucks. No point by point information. At least the iPhone version has it, but but both offer no stats at all.
Once again IBM proves that they're unable to create decent livescore apps for the most important tennis tournaments of the world. Or it actually looks like livescores aren't the main purpose of those apps. I could care less about all the other information those apps offer.
Any alternatives?

ATP/WTA live for Android - point by point, all ATP tournaments plus challengers, recommend ;)

Now, 2012 Australian Open - there is livescore, but it is refreshing every 30 sec., not point by point.

Last year, I remember all the slams (bar RG with that piece of shit app it came out with) had point by point and stats and stuff.

Sorry to bump this guys, but I have a question.

I've been using the ATP livescore app for a while now (for those of you who haven't, and have access to a smartphone or similar device, I highly recommend it). It's great for following events around the globe.

I was wondering though, are the times posted on the app acclimated to the person using it (ie your time zone), or a reflection of the tournament's posting?

I wonder because I've been using it to know when I can stream the matches from Kaohsiung, but am not sure of the times themselves due to a few inconsistencies.

I always use LiveScores too, even when I've got a web browser handy. The stats are usually better than what's available for the slams, and I especially like that they break them down on a set by set basis, so you can get a feel for progression and shifts in momentum during the match.
