We can all agree Murray is now a vastly experienced player at the age of 24. He also has seven Masters titles and will win a lot more.

So after watching the semifinal last night against Nadal and having watched almost all of Murray's semis and finals in major tournaments, it's a simple question. What is his gameplan? What are his tactics? What is he doing to neutralize his opponents strenghts before they do it to him? Will Murray attempt to change anything when the next opportunity comes around?

no, and he doesn't need to either

he has a good gameplan and then he shanks anything short against nadal- and thats suicide because you HAVE to take your chances against nadal

he is a bottler- he doesn't produce when it counts- he is wayne rooney at a world cup- christiano ronaldo at a champions league final- he cant pull the trigger when it counts- so he will never be a great

Do a better job at converting break points, for a start? Didn't he have break points in all sets yesterday?

For crying out loud, can the mods proclaim just ONE month FREE of useless posters starting useless threads with useless discussions about Murray's uselessness?:rolleyes:

How many times you guys need to be told? Murray DOES NOT and WILL NEVER have any kind of talent comparable to the current Top 3.

I'm aware the British press some time ago contorted your minds into believing Murray is some kind of Galactic Tennis Miracle for the 21st Century, but you REALLY need to wake up and join Murraytards Anonymous. The kind of miracle you're all yearning for is NOT going to happen. EVER.

I'm not a Murray fan :p

But as a Brit these questions need to be posed.

sort out the confusion with various gameplans when playing top guys - stick to defensive game (or as he puts it 'cautious'), or develop a consistent aggressive game. for that though, he needs a more consistent (big) forehand, and a better serve.

Being able to put away short balls would help, but his forehand isn't good enough to do so.

Even when it's on a great day, it will still eventually break down (see what happened after he missed the chance to go 15-40 up at Wimbledon)

The USO SF three years ago was the only time his forehand stayed consistently strong throughout.

His gameplan should be to ask the Wimbledon and US open organisers to cease their green and blue clay experiments and go back to quick surfaces. The way they were meant to be. He could do worse than ask the Australian open top brass to revert the surface to the quicker one that was being played on previous to 2008. He should use the French open as an opportunity to tour Paris.

His best shot is avoid Nadal in a Slam. Unless Nadal gets injured, that ain't happening.
He's beaten Nadull twice in slams, so he can obviously do it :stupid: You're yet another delusional Nadaltards. Where do you guys come from? There's like four of you guys joining every day.

HE can't do it. Nadal was getting use to hard courts back then. He won't lose to Mugray ever again in a slam, maybe some masters event but that's it.

His gameplan is to lose. He executes it flawlessly everytime. I really don't see why you people are so hard on him. He's doing just want he needs to get the result intended.

he needs to work on the versatility of his forehand to make it as strong as his backhand side. he has shown he can hit it flat and deep but its still not up to par with the other slam holders.
