This year has seen the person with the most match wins all time prior to the event win all the three first slams, improving all three records by 7. Quite amazing.

Amazing. So happy for Youzhny. He becomes the 7th member of Fed's generation to reach 500+

Federer, Ferrer, Hewitt, Roddick, Haas, Robredo, Youzhny.

Djokovic generation:

Djokovic, Nadal, Murray, Berdych, Stanimal, Tsonga.

They will tie the record with 7 if Gasquet, Cilic, or Verdasco gets over 100.

They will break the record with 8 if two of Gasquet and Cilic and Verdasco get there. Could happen at the USO.

without counting it, thought Kafelnikov won more than 99
There are some weird things in this stat, player like Ferrer Berdych with 140 wins and Kafelnikov, Nastase, Safin, Newcombe with 90+

Just for curiosity, players with 90+ wins

99: Verdasco, Kafelnikov, Ferrero
98: Henman
97: Nastase
95: Safin
93: Newcombe, Monfils
92: Rosewall*, Lopez
90: Tanner

Fed 99 ahead of Connors, now more than makes up for the slams Connors didn't play.
I agree. If you're very generous to Connors, you could convert his count to 333. Replace his 11 AO wins by 84 (like Wimbledon, since it was also grass), and add ~27 for his 5 missed FO. Of course, had he really played all that, he might have missed other slams or shortened his career due to injuries, fatigue etc.
