It's been time already, I really wondered why there is no Federer (probably Basel) or Djokovic (somewhere in Eastern Europe or MC) or even a Sampras court (USA, probably Cincy?).

I get that Nadal is a legend on clay, but the above mentioned players are also ATGs on their respective surfaces or very popular players achieved the most in their categories (Federer as most GS first, Djokovic best Eastern European, Sampras best US American), so they would deserve it as much as Nadal.

Was expecting this to be some kind of homage to Lord Gulbis in Latvia

having a court named after him in a future is not such a big achievement

The alley that gives access to the Halle tournament is named after Roger :p

And apparently there is also a Novak Djokovic Court....in France 馃槃

So Federer still has no tennis court named after him.

Which is nice and all, but is used for children playing tennis there. Hoping for a court which is used for at least for some ITF/ATP tournaments.

I don't think any of them (including Nadal) should have a court in their name while still on the tour. I don't think it's cool for players to face off against a legendary player also on a court named after him. It can wait a few years.

That was my concept a few years ago as well... however if Nadal has one, why not Federer and Djokovic?
