Very hard fought match and Chucho had a break in the 3rd, but couldn't get the job done.

Well done Almagro.

The crowd were behind Almagro for sure and he was delighted after he won and good cold handshake at the end of the match.

Opportunity lost for Acasuso, he took a timeout at the start of the 2nd set on his calf, but he failed to close the deal.

"La Cabeza" took his chances when on offer.

Yes, maybe... but Chucho played a great match, though that last forehand from Almagro said who did really have to win the match.

Good match overall, some very bad decisions from both, especially some dropshots were so bad that there was time to get some water and then go hit a winner. Chucho was up a break in the 3rd but Almagro kept it together and took his chances.

Chucho missed the easy volley in the last game and got punished for it.

Break points 3/8 to 2/8.

Moonhead's forehand down the line was a quality shot.

Absolutely, too bad he celebrated it like a total jerk

Nalbandian-Almagro should be a great final, they were the two most impressive players during the Latin American swing this year. It will be their first meeting on clay.

 He was happy for winning a tough match and for having almost the whole people cheering for him, what's the matter with celebrating like that? :/
It was a great shot, absolutely worthy of celebration but he was sitting on the ground pump-fisting and shouting with his back towards the net while the opponent was waiting for the handshake. I like Almagro but I would say the same if any player X reacted like that.

Shake the opponents hand first, then celebrate.
